A: Both hemp and marijuana come from the Cannabis sativa plant family. Think of them like siblings - they're from the same family but have different traits. Hemp is grown for its fibers, seeds, and naturally low-THC flowers. Marijuana, on the other hand, contains high levels of THC. Hemp won’t get you “high” like its sibling marijuana, but it has a lot to offer for wellness, sustainability, and everyday use. To learn more about hemp and its history check this out.

Yes! The 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp by removing it from Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act in the United States. It also defines hemp as "any part of the cannabis plant or its derivatives containing no more than 0.3% delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9 THC) on a dry-weight basis".

A: Cannabinoids are the natural compounds found in the hemp plant that interact with your body’s endocannabinoid system — a network that helps keep things like mood, sleep, digestion, and inflammation in balance. There are actually over 100 identified cannabinoids found in hemp!

CBD and THC are the most talked about cannabinoids. CBD is widely used for therapeutic uses. THC is well known for it's intoxicating effects - "the high".  Our products feature CBDa which is less talked about, but studies show it may be more potent and better absorbed by the body than CBD. A: Nope! Hemp naturally contains very low amounts of THC. Our infusions are designed for wellness and balance — not intoxication. All of our USDA certified organic hemp flower tests within the Nevada Department of Agriculture's compliance threshold of less than 0.36% total potential THC 30 days prior to harvest.

Hemp Kissed products are made from hemp compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill regulations and containing less than 0.3% delta-9 THC on a dry weight basis. Due to the simple fact that our products contain trace amounts of THC, it is possible that THC may appear on a drug test.

A: Hemp is generally considered safe, but cannabinoids can interact with certain medications. If you’re taking prescription medications or have health concerns, it’s always best to consult your healthcare provider.

A: Yes! Every batch of hemp flower and hemp infusions are sent to a third-party lab for testing. We believe in full transparency, so you can always trust what’s in your Hemp Kissed products.

Lot or batch numbers are listed on all of our products. As a part of our organic certification, we keep impeccable records. We can tell you when and where in our fields or warehouse any of the hemp flower was planted, when it was harvested,  where it was dried, etc. We use the same "audit trail" records for all of our infusions too.

If you ever want to know exactly what went into your product and see the test results email us at: hello@hempkissed.com. Be sure to send the lot or batch number in your email so we can get you the corresponding records. The lot numbers for hemp flower products are found on the original packaging (the jar lid or top of the pre-roll tubes) and the invoice. The batch numbers for hemp infusions are found on the label that came with the infusions and the invoice.
